J. Ross Wagner
Wagner is a John Wesley Fellow and associate professor of New Testament at Duke Divinity School. His scholarly interests range from the interpretation of Scripture in ancient Judaism and early Christianity to the role of biblical interpretation in the formation and nurture of contemporary communities of faith. He is the author or editor of four books, including Heralds of the Good News: Paul and Isaiah In Concert in the Letter to the Romans (Brill, 2002) and, most recently, Reading the Sealed Book: Old Greek Isaiah and the Problem of Septuagint Hermeneutics (Mohr Siebeck/Baylor University Press, 2013).
